Chemical Stress -  Synthetic chemicals don’t get properly processed by our bodies. These can include medications, environmental chemicals, cosmetics, fragrances, poor quality supplements, pesticides, heavy metals, plastics, poor water quality etc.

Ken has 20 years of experience in the fitness industry from managing fitness clubs, teaching trainers and helping clients achieve their goals. Using his expertise in gut/hormonal health he has taught people how to heal and transform their bodies! 

He did his BSc. in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. He later went back to school at the Alive Academy and became a Holistic Nutritionist. How Rosie Transformed This Client
 

This client had many health concerns.  She was not feeling well, had joint pain, bloating, and digestive issues.  She lacked quality sleep, had a busy shift work schedule, and was consuming highly inflammatory foods.

Rosie began by removing the top allergen foods; wheat, dairy, corn, sugar, and soy (Furious 5™).  These stress the body and cause issues with digestion, inflammation, mucus, bloating, and constipation.

Rosie took this client through our 5 Step Assessment to determine the following:

Hormone Profile: Late work nights and physical stresses elevated her cortisol levels which were causing weight gain and shutting down her body processes such as digestion, metabolism, and immune system.  Her body was in constant Fight OR Flight mode.

Disrupted sleep and being up between 1 and 3 am also indicated that toxins were backed up in the liver and gallbladder. They began by fixing some late night habits, such as going straight to bed without snacking when arriving home late from work.

Rosie also recommended Magnesium as a calming agent to help with better sleep quality, and she had her client remove electronics before bed.

Her back site (fat stored in the back area) showed she was not handling carbohydrates well and her eating habits were causing insulin resistance.
